Rev. Geoffrey Okapisi was born in Nairobi and brought up at the ACK St. Stephens Cathedral Nairobi, He received his diploma in Theology and Community Development from St. Andrews Theological College Kabare and later his Bachelors in Divinity from St. Paul University.

He was made a deacon in the Anglican Church of Kenya Nairobi Diocese in September 2004 and served at St. Helens Githurai for a year. He was ordained as a priest in the year 2005 July. In September 2005 he was appointed the Vicar of St. Mathias Njiru for a period of five years and later transferred to St. Phillips Jericho, where he served for another five years before being appointed as the Diocesan Administrative Secretary in September 2015.

Rev. Geoffrey Okapisi and his wife Zawadi Okapisi, are blessed with three young children, Salome, Rose and Phillip.
